Black female therapist offering compassionate online counseling for Black and Brown women, specializing in anxiety, body image issues, trauma, and life transitions. Therapy in Chicago, Palos Heights, Orland Park, and Illinois

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Summer, and I’m a therapist who works with anxiety, body image concerns, relationship problems, and people who have experienced trauma. I’m here to help you feel more confident, at ease, and connected to who you truly are.

Taking this first step shows real courage, and I want you to know you’re in the right place. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, battling anxiety, dealing with relationship struggles, or carrying pain from the past, it can be hard to know where to start. Maybe self-doubt or negative thoughts about your body are holding you back and leaving you feeling powerless. I want you to know healing is possible—I’m here to listen and support you every step of the way.

WHO I WORK WITH

As a therapist, I’m deeply passionate about supporting the mental and emotional well-being of women, especially Black and Brown women. I know that the challenges you face—like generational trauma, struggles with identity, body image concerns, and relationship difficulties—can weigh heavily on your mind and heart. These experiences often lead to feelings of anxiety and depression, but you don’t have to carry it alone.

I specialize in helping people work through anxiety, heal from the bad experiences in the past, and improve their relationships. In therapy, we’ll talk about your story, uncover the patterns that keep you stuck, and build coping skills that will help you feel stronger, more confident, and at peace.

WORKING WITH ME

During our time together, you'll have a safe, judgment-free space to share your story. We'll work side by side to explore what you need to heal, grow, and create a life that truly feels right for you. You deserve to feel good about yourself and your future, and I’m here to help you get there.

I take a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approach to therapy, recognizing that traditional methods don’t always fully address the unique challenges Black and Brown women face. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. I offer virtual therapy to clients across Chicago and Illinois. Let’s work together to create the life you deserve—reach out today to get started!

MORE ABOUT ME

I often use humor as a way to relax and unwind. Whether it's watching something funny, joking with friends, or just finding the lighter side of a situation, it helps me stay grounded and take the pressure off when things feel overwhelming. On any given day you can find me cozy on my couch watching Netflix or reading a good book.
